You Know a PR/Marketing Intern?

Do you know someone local who's interested in PR/marketing and games, and is looking for experience with an established studio? We're an indie studio big enough to have released 13 titles, yet small enough not to force our interns to make coffee! (Unless they want to. I'm not going to stop them, but I don't really drink the stuff.)

Dejobaan Games, LLC, an independent game development studio is seeking a motivated intern to help run our PR strategy. If you love playing video games and are pursuing a career in marketing, PR, business, or gaming, we want to talk to you! Now on our 13th title - "AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!! - A Reckless Disregard for Gravity," we are months away from a massive launch. As an intern at an indie studio, you will have the opportunity to drive our marketing and PR strategy under the mentorship of our Director of Business Development. Expect to walk out the doors experience and hireable skills you won't get anywhere else.

Responsibilities:

• Manage aspects of our social media strategy, including Twitter, Facebook, Digg, and Delicious.
• Interface with the press and gaming community. Work directly with journalists, and in forums and community sites.
• Develop creative content: press releases, blogs, and Web content.
  

Skills/Background:

• You are:
  
• Undergraduate students in Marketing, PR, Business, Gaming
• Or any major, with a strong personal interest in social media and gaming
• Strong writing skills and ability to communicate.
• Experience with social media a plus.
  
• Interest in video games a must!
  

Prerequisites:

• Ability to travel to Watertown MA twice a week to meet the Dejobaan Team.
• Ability to work from home via PC, 20 hours/week.
  

This is an unpaid internship with the opportunity for future paid work with Dejobaan.
