YouTube traffic looking pretty good too!

Day 1, 11:17pm: 8333 views of our three video previews of the alpha! That's more views than we have had for all previous videos. Needless to say we are very excited and will be working harder than ever to make sure we outdo ourselves in the playable Beta.

Game 13, ALPHA - AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!! - A Reckless Disregard for Gravity

So last night, we sent out a couple of press releases, and hoped that at best we would get a couple of pleasant previews and maybe a one: "That's a great title"

This morning, laying in bed at 7:34, with a bad case of the sniffles and a sore throat (thank you New England weather), I picked up my Iphone, looked at my inbox... AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!! It was nuts, I already had 4 responses from press folks and it hadn't even been 8 hours! A Google search revealed 3 pages of hits, who is up this early???

Turns out it was just the beginning... As the day wore on, my phone kept buzzing, and we started to see posts on blogs, twitter and -- what's this? -- more press inquiries?? Time for us to start facebooking, twittering... and then the comments started. This is where we were really tickled pink:

VideoGaming247: "In what must be the best title for a game ever, AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!! promises that “you can dive off a skyscraper, relying on quick reflexes to negotiate the intricate tangle of girders that make up the City.”

Joystiq: "Title of the Year: Dejobaan's AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!!"

GamerSince: "AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!! - A Reckless Disregard for Gravity. C’est pas moi qui pète un plomb, c’est bel et bien le nom d’un jeu. Un jeu de BASE jump, pour être plus précis, et du coup ça m’a l’air plutôt bien pensé. J’ai même presque envie de dire “Best…game…title…ever !”, mais non, j’irais pas jusque là, y’a aussi Zombie BBQ qui concourt pour le titre."
